As you can see Seminole is located in the rolling hills of West Virginia,we are a poodle's paradise. We have acres of rolling hills for the poodles to run and hunt on, they never forget to come home--LOL. Our love for the Standard just grows and grows, they are such a versatile friend, whether lying on the couch or acting as guard dog. They are wonderful companions to my small grandchildren. All our poodles take turns living in the house in family surroundings, and all our "friends" live inside during extreme weather. Our standards are very people orientated, they are handled daily, never put in fenced fields and forgotten about for weeks at a time. We have inside whelping accommodations, with temperature control, and doggy door for mother to relieve herself and take a break from babies as they get a bit older. Potty training is started as soon as the babies leave the whelping box. First on piddle pads, then as they become stronger, a doggy door for them to learn to go outside. All of Seminole breeding stock has had or are in the process of genetic health testing. Most are clear by default (parentage) Hips are being x-rayed and OFA's obtained on younger dogs. We do have a TWO year health guarantee our babies against genetic dysfunctions that is debilitating or fatal and hips. Health guarantee is posted on website, and it is YOUR responsibility to read, prior to placing deposit on puppy.
Please understand that NO puppy will leave here until it is paid for in full. Also it has become necessary that I say, when your puppy is 8 weeks old, it is ready for new home, and it will not be held longer without further discussion. These puppies grow very quickly the first few months of their life, and the shipping fee increases as the puppy grows, as well as additional cost for food and vaccines. If you will not be ready for your puppy at 8 weeks old, let's discuss this prior to you placing a deposit. I can and will hold your puppy longer, but there will be an additional fee.
